Well, It all started in grade 9 when Luc,Jeff and Steph had begun a band and started playing cover songs like Metallica and other various songs. After looking for a bass player
going through three or four bass players they asked me (Robert) to play for them in a french show. I accepted and after we didnt get the gig they decided to keep me as there bass player.
It took me awhile to learn the songs but after a little while we were a fairly good band. Before i had joined they had played two shows for our school. The first show i played at was at the summer sounds
in pembroke. That day i was mowing the lawn and a peice of the muffler came off and I (stupidly) tried to pick it up. Obviously i had burnt my index and thumb on my left hand (ouch) there were two big blisters
and boy did they hurt. The show went good and that was when we started getiing recognized.
The next show was at a christmas celebration at our school this show went good as well. After that our good friend Mimi
(Nick's G-Friend) organized a battle of the bands featuring Forcefed,Dicypless,Arachnid,The Hoodoo Blues Band and us Flatline. WE won that show. It was the first time we ever got pad to play we won 100$. Frocefed took second place,
and Dicypless took third. Then we played our second "money gig" at our school for some type of fun day. We got another 100$ for that show and great compliments from the students at our shcool and even Bishop as well.
Now the last show was at a Teen Jamboree that had featured No Label (Good friends of ours who played cover songs from various different bands. Also The hoodoo Blues band again, ScapeGoat and Edith's Grove. And a few other bands from around the region.
We have no clue when our next gig is but when i find out i will post it up on th news page.
